5.1.8 臨床決定性水平（clinical decision leuel）
當某個被測物的濃度達到某一水平時，臨床醫師必須采用醫療措施。被測物的這濃度稱為臨床決定性水平。
5.2質量控制血清
質控血清是已有靶值的血清，在每次的常規檢驗中加入一份或數份，通過所得結果來了解本次檢驗的情況。質控血清檢驗的結果如能控制其誤差在一定范圍內，就說明該檢驗沒有發生不允許的誤差。如果出現超過允許誤差范圍的異常結果，提示該檢驗不合格，應尋找原因，糾正后，重檢待測標本。因此質控血清在質控工作中起重要作用。
