The protein encoded by this gene is the fourth major glycoprotein of the plaet surface and serves as a receptor for thrombospondin in plaets and various cell lines. Since thrombospondins are widely distributed proteins involved in a variety of adhesive processes, this protein may have important functions as a cell adhesion molecule. It binds to collagen, thrombospondin, anionic phospholipids and oxidized LDL. It directly mediates cytoadherence of Plasmodium falciparum parasitized erythrocytes and it binds long chain fatty acids and may function in the transport and/or as a regulator of fatty acid transport. Mutations in this gene cause plaet glycoprotein deficiency. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein isoform have been found for this gene.
保存條件: Store at -20℃ for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20℃. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody, the antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4 ℃

方法2：微波修復，將盛有修復液和玻片的燒杯置于微波爐中，高火5min，停火3min，中火5min，自然冷卻至室溫。
